My approach

I wholeheartedly believe in a holistic and individualized approach to wellness and nutrition. Nutritional therapy favors whole, real foods to heal and rebalance the body. Health stems from the foundations of five areas: digestion, blood sugar balance, fatty acid balance, mineral balance, and hydration.

I am also a firm believer in bio-individuality. Each individual has varying needs and capacities for different foods. Together, we can work to see what works best for you, always coming from a place of self-love and acceptance.

It’s worth noting that I am anti-diet. I do not believe in short-term strategies. I much prefer a long-term approach to health. My priority is to help you discover a way of eating that you are comfortable committing to forever. While I do think it’s appropriate for some people to lose weight if they wish to do so, we will never do extreme, drastic, depriving diets that require you to continually restrict to reach your goals. I promise, the whole process will be enjoyable, super delicious and sustainable.

Much of our desire to eat comes from our emotional relationship with food, and I also place a large focus in helping you heal your relationship with food and your body. I’ve spent years healing my own, and now that I’m on the other side, I’m committed to help you eat with full awareness and let go of your emotional dependency on food.

Wellness coaching

I am available for wellness coaching and offer the following packages online and in person:

Prior to meeting, you will fill out forms with your health history. We will go over them during your initial interview. Then, we will come up with a comprehensive plan to help you meet your wellness goals. I will be available to support you via email between appointments.

Appointments are typically spaced two to three weeks apart.

  • Initial interview & follow up (two sessions) // 90 minute initial interview, 60 minute follow-ups
  • Initial interview & three follow-ups (four sessions) // 90 minute initial interview, 60 minute follow-ups
  • Initial interview & five follow-ups (six sessions) // 90 minute initial interview, 60 minute follow-ups
  • Initial interview & nine follow ups (ten sessions) // 90 minute initial interview, 60 minute follow-ups

Group coaching

I am also available for six-week group wellness coaching, taking in groups of up to 8 people at a time online and in person.

Speaking

I am passionate about a variety of topics ranging from nutrition, cooking, weight loss, emotional eating, body image and overall health. I have given talks at local doctors’ offices, gyms, and private homes. I am an experienced speaker and would love to present at your next event or seminar.

Private cooking

I offer different cooking packages based on my clients’ needs. I have been cooking professionally for five years. I am experienced in all cooking, but my specialty is in specialized diets. Together, we can come up with a delicious plan and customized menu best suited to your needs.

I am available for weekly cooking sessions, along with individual catered sessions for gatherings in your home (up to twelve people).

Cooking classes

I love to teach people how to cook. My cooking classes are fun, informative, simple, and incredibly approachable. Each class is customized based on client need.
